Christian Belief Is Based On the Power Of God
1 Corinthians 2:5. If we rely only on our own wisdom we have no power over sin and death in this world. We must put our faith in the power of God only (1 Corinthians 2:5, "That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God"). Our faith in our own skills, our own wisdom, and the wisdom of others is nothing. Our faith can only be based on the power of God. He is the only one that can provide for us and offer eternal life.
