1st Corinthians 4

Spread the Gospel Not to Shame People, But to Make them Aware of Their Guilt

1 Corinthians 4:14. Paul was harsh in his letters to the Corinthians church. This was not to shame them, but to warn them and to make them aware of their guilt in regard to their relationship with God (1 Corinthians 4:14, “I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you”). Many times the truth hurts.

If God is My Judge, Should I Judge People?

1 Corinthians 4:5. God is the ultimate judge of what is right or wrong. As His creatures our purpose is not to upsurge his authority by judging people.
