Christians Are to Please Their Spouses in the Marriage Relationship
1st Corinthians 7:33. From a Christian perspective a key part of your marriage relationship is to please your spouse. A marriage relationship based on self-interest or even mutual self-interest is bound to fail. As none of us are perfect, the other marriage partner will at some time or another fall short of our expectations.
Coping With Adultery - Separation and Reconciliation
1 Corinthians 7:11. Another option in coping with adultery is to separate. In this case separation from your spouse for a season may heal the relationship (1 Corinthians 7:11, “But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife”).
