We Confess Sins and Accept God's Free Gift
1 John 4:15. All that mankind is required to do to accept this free gift, is to confess sins, and acknowledge that Jesus is our Lord and Savior (1 John 4:15, "Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God."). Only through Jesus can we walk in obedience and be in right fellowship with God and with one another. Jesus Christ has cleansed us from all our sin (1 John 1:7, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.").
