Define Delusions – The Deluded Have No Love of Truth

2 Thessalonians 2:10. Another aspect when we define delusions is that someone that is deluded shows no love of truth. People may say they love God, but what are their actions. Our human nature desires to fulfill our flesh. Our fleshly desires corrupt our view of truth. Truth becomes relative versus something we seek. Our truth becomes, “if it feels good, do it.” We say, “everyone else believes it or does it, so it must be the true way.” A lover of truth seeks truth. If God sees that you do not love the truth, he will let you go your own way. In fact He will encourage you in your delusions if he sees that there is no love of truth in your heart. He would rather that you go to the full extent of your foolishness than just be double minded in your view of truth (2 The 2: 10-12, “And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness"). Beware, you are separated from God when you seek the pleasure of unrighteousness versus seeking God’s truth. To define delusions is not enough in our lives. We must identify the delusions that our in our lives, and learn to love God's truth. Your delusions will be your death sentence versus truth being your salvation.
