The Power Of Belief Turns Us Away From The Power Of Darkness

Acts 26:18. It is natural for us to turn toward the light if our eyes are open, but many of us when it comes to God keep our eyes closed. This is what happens to many non-believers that continue in sin. They are not willing to open their eyes to the light of God and they stay within the power of Satan. They do not want to open up their eyes to God because then they would then be compelled to give up their sin. If we would just open up our eyes, we would see the light of God. Then the power of belief would move us toward the light of God and salvation. Through the power of our belief we can receive forgiveness for our sins and receive eternal inheritance ( Acts 26:18, "To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.").
