God, the Source of Revealed and Secret Knowledge
Daniel 2:22. God is the source of both revealed and secret knowledge. For most people knowledge is usually thought of in terms of man's knowledge, but knowledge and truth is more than what mankind knows. In reality God is the source of truth and knowledge. This is because He is all-powerful, all-present, and all-knowing. He controls the weather, he controls who rules governments, and he is the revealer of knowledge. He knows what is not true (what is in darkness), and what is true (what is in the light). In God's timing, He decides what truth to reveal to mankind and what truth not to reveal. The Bible calls the knowledge of what He does not reveal to mankind as the secret knowledge of God (Daniel 2:21-22, “And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him”).
DANIEL 2 BIBLE SCRIPTURE 2:22, “He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.”
