Genesis 8 Bible Summary. The waters subsided after one hundred and fifty days. The ark rested on the mountains of Ararat. Noah sent out a raven and the a dove several times. Finally the dove came back with a olive leaf. Noah remove the covering of the ark. God told him to go forth with his family and all the living things. Noah built an alter to the Lord.

Bible Summary. Lord tells Noah that in seven days it will rain forty days and forty nights. Noah was six hundred years old. He brought his family and the animals, two by two, into the ark. The rain came and the earth flooded. The ark went onto the face of the water. All of flesh died that moved upon the earth. The water prevailed upon the earth for hundred and fifty days.

Summary of Genesis 13. Abram went out of Egypt. He was rich in cattle, silver, and gold. Between Bethel and Hai he went to the place of the altar. The land was not able to bear both Lot and Abram's flocks. Lot chose to move to the plain of Jordan. He pitched his tent toward Sodom. Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan.

Summary of Genesis 12. The Lord told Abram to leave his country and kindred. He will make of him a great nation. Abram and his family went to the land of Canaan. The Lord told him he would give his seed this land. There was famine in the land and he went down to Egypt. Because he feared for his life being the husband of the beautiful Sarai, he told the Egyptians that Sarai was his sister.

Summary of Genesis 39. Joseph's master Potiphar who was an officer of Pharaoh saw that the Lord was with Joseph. Joseph was made overseer of Potiphar's house, and the Lord blessed the Egyptian's house. The master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph. When alone, Potiphar's wife asked Joseph to lie with her. Joseph fled. Then Joseph was accused of attempting to lie with her.

Summary of Genesis 15. God told Abram in a vision to fear not. Abram said he was childless. God told him he would have a heir. God told him that his seed would be as numerous as the stars. Abram believed God. God asked for a sacrifice which Abram then offered. Then Abram went into a deep sleep.

Summary of Genesis 1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. The spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. God said, Let there be light, and there was light. Genesis 50:20. A consequence of us having unforgiveness against a person is that we will become out of step with God’s plan for our lives. God has given all of us a purpose in our lives, and it does not include unforgiveness. Unforgiveness is a sin in that it is the opposite of forgiveness which God commands us to do.
