Who is Adam and Eve? They Are the Mother and Father of the Humanity

Genesis 3:20. Adam and Eve are the mother and father of all humanity. At the end of the six days of creation, they were the only humans who were created directly by God. In Genesis 1:28 God told them “…Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth …”. God had made them male and female (Mark 10:6: “But from the beginning of creation, “God made them male and female”). Through reproductive means, Adam and Eve were to have sexual intercourse in order to have children to replenish the earth. This was their sacred commission to be the mother and father of all humanity.

Genesis 3:20 says , “And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.” Here the Bible explicitly states that Eve is the mother of all humanity. Before Adam had named her Eve, she was called woman. Woman literally means "womb-man" or "female-man". She was Adam’s help meet, his partner in all life’s endeavors. Now with her being called Eve, her name embodied her purpose ordained by God to be mother of all humanity.
