Define Deceit - Deceit Suppresses Truth
Hosea 7:13. When we define deceit another aspect is it suppresses the truth. In Christianity deceit results in people not even knowing they need salvation nor knowing that they need redemption through Jesus Christ. Through deceit we either do not know God or we have a corrupt view of God.
Because of deceit we stay followers of Satan and our flesh headed for destruction. Through deceit we become haters of God instead of lovers of God. We let Satan keep us in bondage even though Jesus Christ has already done everything necessary on the cross for all of us to be redeemed (Hosea 7:13, “Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me”).
HOSEA 7 BIBLE SCRIPTURE: Hosea 7:13, “Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.”
