Lucifer Fell From Grace Because He Exalted Himself Above God

Isaiah 14:13. Lucifer fell from grace because sin was found in him (see Ezekiel 28:15). His sin was pride where he exalted himself above God. He rebelled against God where he felt he did not need God. He felt that he had both the will and the power to do anything and be anything that he desired. He no longer needed God in his life.

Isaiah 14:13-14 tells us of the five “I Wills” of Lucifer. Isaiah 14:13 contains the first three “I Wills”. Isaiah 14:13 says, “For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:” Here Lucifer exalts himself before God. He, the fallen angel, claims he will ascend back into heaven. He claims he will have a throne higher than the stars of God. He claims he will sit over the congregation of heaven. Lucifer’s intention was to place himself above God. Because of the sin that was found in him, he separated himself from God and fell from the grace of God.

ISAIAH 14 BIBLE SCRIPTURE Isaiah 14:13, "For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:"
