How To Trust - Trust God's Word

Isaiah 30:12. When we ask how to trust someone, we really need to be asking how do we trust God. Every time we put our trust in man instead of God and His Word, we will be let down. In fact, when you are putting your trust in someone or something else, you are basically saying that you do not trust God. God as our creator tells us in His Word, the Bible, to trust Him. When we do not totally rely on Him, we are basically despising His Word. We are trusting in our own strength and diverting from God's purpose in our lives. God calls us perverse when we do not trust in Him and go our own way. We become separated from God because of our selfishness and perversion (Isaiah 30:12, “Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:”). We become brute beasts fearing or oppressing everything. When we do not put our trust in God, our situation is one of no hope or purpose.
