Intercession Causes God's Promises to Be Realized in Spiritual Warfare
Isaiah 62:7. Intercession is where we pray to God for the sake of another person or for a corporate cause. Many of the best prayers and intercessory prayers are when we remind God of His promises. God delights in us reminding Him of His promises. It shows that we have faith in Him and His promises. When we pray in this manner for another or for a corporate cause, our intercessory prayer is spiritual warfare. In intercessory prayer we are conquerors by bringing God closer to ourselves, and to others. Through intercession we are bringing ourselves and others into closer relationship with God so that His promises can be fulfilled in us ( Isaiah 62:6-7, "I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth").
ISAIAH 6 BIBLE SCRIPTURE Isaiah 62:7, "And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth."
