Jesus Frees Us From Strife

John 14:27. Many times you may not be the source of strife, but then you get caught up in it. Someone may be boasting, and then you start boasting. Someone attempts to take something of yours and then you take something of theirs. Someone hits you, you hit them back. Only Jesus can free us of the strife of this world. Jesus enables us to not to get caught up in the strife and conflict. Jesus offers us a way of escape. He offers us peace - everlasting peace. We can be free of strife by accepting Jesus' free gift of peace. We no longer have to accept the strife and trouble that the world offers us (John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid").
