Spiritual Warfare – The Devil is a Liar and Nothing Else
John 8:44. Spiritual warfare is a battle of our mind and the only weapon the devil has against us is lies and trickery. In Greek the definition of the devil (diabolos) is “adversary, slanderer, accuser”. The Bible tells us that the devil is the father of lies (John 8:44, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.").

From the beginning the devil was a liar as he still is today. If we listen and are tempted by the devil's lies, we will be defeated in spiritual warfare. Spiritual warfare is a fight for our minds. Spiritual warfare is really God's fight. All we need to do is seek God's truth and resist the devil's lies.
