God's Character Is Embodied In The Definition Of Compassion
Matthew 9:36. God is a compassionate God. God's compassion is easy to see by us just looking at the definition of compassion. Compassion is a desire to free others from their suffering. God definitely desires to free all of us from suffering. His compassion is empathy not sympathy. God is definitely emphatic with our human situation. This is because He has experienced our human condition through His Son Jesus Christ who lived among us in human form. He identifies and understands our situations, our feelings, and motives (Matthew 9:36, "But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd").
MATTHEW 9 BIBLE SCRIPTURE: Matthew 9:36, "But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd."
