God Sees Defiant Behavior As Evil That Needs To Be Destroyed
Proverbs 17:11. God does not suffer rebellion long. The only reason He is patient with our defiant behavior is that He loves us and desires for us to repent in order to re-establish a relationship with Him. God sees people who rebel against Him and rebel against His word as evil. If you continue in your defiant behavior God will send you a "cruel messenger" to either chastise you or destroy you (Proverbs 17:11, "An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.").
