Knowledge Is Not To Be Despised over Imagination

Proverbs 1:7. Someone that uses their imagination and has no knowledge is a fool. God is the source of all knowledge while imagination comes from the minds of man. Imagination without the knowledge of God leads to disobedience, sin, and eventual eternal death (Hell). God's knowledge enables us to make right choices that line up with the Word of God and eternal life. With the knowledge of God we can fulfill our Creator's purpose. Imagination is a gift of God, but it must be grounded in knowledge and wisdom that comes from God. Imagination gives us choices, but without knowledge of God we can easily be tempted by bad choices. Imagination without God conceives sin in our heart that compels us to despise God's wisdom and instruction in order for us to overtly sin against God. Proverbs 1:7, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”

PROVERBS 1 BIBLE SCRIPTURE Proverbs 1:7, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
