Coping With Adultery – They Do Not Know What They Do
Proverbs 6:32. One thing for you to remember when coping with adultery, is to realize that the adulterous marriage partner does not understand the full consequences of their actions. If they did, they would not have been tempted to commit adultery. An adulterer may not fully understand that his or her actions may very well destroy a marriage and family. The adulterer may not understand how God separates adulterers from His fellowship. Or how adultery actually destroys the soul through corruption and ultimately death (Proverbs 6:32, “But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul”).
