What Does the Bible Say About Fear: Do Not Fear Other People
Psalm 56:4. The Bible tells us not to fear people or anything in this world. Psalms 56:4 says, "In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me." The people around us do have the potential to do us harm more than other creatures or natural disasters. People can kill, they can steal, they can hurt our feelings, and even make us to do bad things if we let them. From God’s perspective, we should not let fear overwhelm us whether the threat comes from people or anything else. It is God that we should trust and not our imagination. We should look to God and look to His Word, the Bible, for direction and wisdom concerning our fears whether real or imaginary.
