Summary of Revelation 4. The door opened in heaven and the first voice said come up hither. I saw a throne and around the throne were twenty-four elders seated. Out of the throne proceeded lightning, thunder, and voices. There were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne. Revelation 4 Biblical Advice and Commentary
God's Throne Room
Rev 4:11: We Are Here For God's Pleasure. The definition of the meaning of life is quite simple. It is to please God. The meaning of life is to glorify, honor, and love God. We may think we have many choices in life, but we only have one purpose: to please God. Revelation 4:11 advises us that God created us for His pleasure.
Rev 4:11: Biblical Creation Explains the Order of Natural And Supernatural Things. The Bible tells us that God created the universe for His own purpose. Another way to say this is that God, a supernatural being, created the natural world for His own purpose. It is easy to get caught up in cares of the natural world, but spiritual things are of greater significance and provide real meaning in our lives. Revelation 4:11 advises us on why God created the natural world.
