Is There A God If We Define What Is Right And Wrong?
Romans 1:25. Our sin nature continues to ask the question, is there a God, because we want to be disobedient to God. We desire to be wise and define what is right and wrong (Romans 1:22, "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools"). In our efforts to deny God, mankind has defined competing theories of creation such as evolution theory and the "big bang" theory. In our wisdom we have diminished God from "...the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things." (Romans 1:23), What is the real purpose of us creating these competing theories of creation? It is the pride of life. Our sin nature desires to determine what is right and wrong. We desire to worship our own wisdom and turn God's truth into a lie. We worship ourselves, the creature, versus the Creator (Romans 1:25, "Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen").
BIBLE SCRIPTURE: Romans 1:25, "Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen")
