Worshiping Things Rather Than God is A Wrong Choice

Romans 1:25. Many of us may worship God for a season, but then we make wrong choices by putting other things above God. When we lust and worship things above God, we are basically idol worshiping. God made it part our human nature to worship. The problem is that instead of worshiping God we will worship the other woman, our job, our car, or even ourselves. We have a tendency to lust and worship everything, but God.

Many of us know we are doing wrong in God's eye, but we will put on false pretenses and use self-deception to continue to serve God's creation versus God, the Creator (Romans 1:25, "Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen."). We live a lie fooling ourselves and others to continue in our sin instead of seeking God and his Truth.
