The Bible Tells Us Not to Be Led By Our Anger
Romans 2:8. The Bible tells us that there are terrible consequences of being led by our anger. Romans 2:8-9 says, “But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath.
There is No Excuse for Judging Others, That Is God's Job
Romans 2:1. Even though it is human nature to judge people that is no excuse to do it. God is very clear about us judging people – don't do it. We are to give people the truth, God's Word. We are not to use God's Word (the Truth) to be judge and jury over people. It does not matter how someone hurts you or is disgusting or just plain evil. These are no excuses to judge other people.
To Be Without A Conscience
Romans 2:14. The Bible tells us that God made everyone with a conscience.
Define Conscience As A Law Written In Your Heart
Romans 2:15. Conscience is a group of laws in your heart. Mankind has demonstrated that they know God's principles. No matter if we know the Bible or not, we know we should not murder, steal, be jealous of other people, and generally not do the things that displease our creator. Our conscience bears witness to the laws that are written in our heart by God, our Creator.
Does everyone have a conscience?
Romans 2:14. The short answer is yes, everyone has a conscience. This includes Christians, Jews, and the unsaved - everyone. The question is what standard is followed by a person's conscience. For a Christian his or her conscience should continually be raised to an higher conscience as he takes more and more of God's Word into his heart.
