What Is Sin And Why Does God Want Us To Confess Sins?
Romans 5:12. God desires for all of mankind to understand what sin is and the importance for us to confess sins.
Definition Of Sin
In short, sin is any thought or action that is against God and God's Word, the Bible. Sin and its consequences, death, entered into this world by Adam in the Garden of Eden. As a result of Adam being disobedient to God in the garden of Eden, Adam took on a sin nature. Because of our natural forefather, Adam, all of mankind inherited his sin nature (Romans 5:12, "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.").
ROMANS 5 BIBLE SCRIPTURE: Romans 5:12, "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."
