A New Man Shows He Knows God By Doing Good Works
Titus 1:16. A new man knows God and is in constant fellowship with God. The evidence that the new man loves God is his good works. The new man does things that are in fellowship with God such as praying, helping the poor, loving his fellow man, and being patient with people. By good works the new man proves his love of God. The old man is just the opposite. He may say he knows God, but his works provides evidence that he is out of fellowship with God. He is disobedient of God and none of his works are good (Titus 1:16, “They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate”).
BIBLE SCRIPTURE: Titus 1:16, “They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.”
