2 Corinthians 6:16. God is the living hope, our only living hope. Separated from the living God, we have no hope. We may trust in our job, our mate, and our own skills, but all of these things will pass away and fall short of the living God. God is a living God. He is alive today and forever more. He is a living hope to all mankind in that he loves us all no matter our faults. He just desires for all of us to love Him. As part of us loving Him, He asks that we be a temple of the living God where He will dwell in us and walk with us (2 Corinthians 6:16, And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people").

Hebrews 9:14. At one time all of mankind became separated from God when sin entered into human nature as result of Adam's disobedience in the Garden of Eden. Because God is righteous, He cannot tolerate the sin in man's nature. To reconcile a sinful mankind back to the living God, Jesus offered us a free gift of salvation. He paid the price for our sins on the cross enabling mankind to have a relationship with God again. By us accepting this free gift from Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, His blood delivers us from the punishment of sin and dead works. We can now purge our conscience from dead works and serve the living God. We now have a living hope who we can go to at any time and know He will be there for us forever and ever (Hebrews 9:14, "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?").

1 Timothy 4:10. All men can have this living hope. God offered a living hope to all mankind through His son, Jesus Christ. Jesus is the savior of all mankind. All we need to do is accept Jesus' free gift and God can be our living hope. He will accept all of us because He loves all of us. If you do accept Jesus as your savior, God will be your living hope and His Holy Spirit will take you through any suffering or reproach in this world (1 Timothy 4:10, "For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe").
