Who is the Holy Spirit – Your Guide in Speech and Action

Matthew 10:20. The Holy Spirit is on this Earth to guide us in speech and action. Once a person accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit is received in them and dwells in them. The Holy Spirit then acts as our guide in speech and in action. All we need to do is to yield to the Holy Spirit.

Who is the Holy Spirit – He is the Spirit of Truth

John 14:17, The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. As Christians, the Holy Spirit resides in us to comfort us, to guide us, and to be the Spirit of Truth in our lives. The Holy Spirit enables us to discern what is true and what is not.

Sanctification – Seek God's Honor

2 Timothy 2:20. To be sanctified, we must have a desire to be sanctified and set aside for God's use. We must have a desire in our heart to be honored by God. God loves us all, but He does not honor us all.

Sanctification – Overcoming Unbelief

2 timothy 2:13. Sanctification is a process for overcoming unbelief in God. Sanctification is also a process for putting our belief into action. Sanctification is a spiritual process where we supersede our physical five senses to come into a closer relationship with a supernatural God. To be sanctified is to be set aside for God.

Find Your Passion And You Find Out What You Value

Matthew 6:21. Finding your passion in life is not hard. The hard thing about finding your passion is that when you find it you may not like it. Matthew 6:21 advises us about how to find our passion. It says, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

Only God Can See the Mysteries of the Future Because He is the Light

Daniel 2:22. God can see the future because he is the source of all knowledge and wisdom. No one else can see the future unless it is revealed to them from God. All knowledge and truth comes from God. All man can do is accumulate knowledge, be it truth or untruth.

God Can Shame You to Bring You into a Place of Honor With Him

Ezekiel 39:26. Sometime God uses shame to chastise us in order for us to come into a place of honor with Him. It is amazing that every time we drift from God, He will find a way to chastise us to do right. This chastisement may come in the form of physical afflictions or emotional distress.

Summary of John 15. Jesus tell us that He is the true vine. He tells us to abide in Him and He will abide in us. If He abides in us, we can ask what we will and it shall be done. Keep His commandments, and we shall abide in His love. His commandment is to love one another. He that hates Jesus also hates God.

Righteousness, A Religious Value That Results in Eternal Life

Romans 8:10. Righteousness is a religious value we should all aspire to because it will bring us eternal life with God. From a Christian perspective, righteousness means to be in right standing with God. Because we are all born in sin (disobedience to God), the only way we can be in right standing with God is through Jesus.

Spiritual Perfection Is God Dwelling in Us

1 John 4:12. Most people have an inner desire to be perfect. The only true way to be spiritually perfect is to have God in you. God is the only one that is truly perfect. He can make you perfect, if you will allow Him to dwell in you. We have to allow Him to be the center of our lives. If we follow His commandments of loving Him and loving others, God will come to dwell in us perfectly.

Refraining From Sin and Being Good is Good Works in Itself

1 Corinthians 6:19. Good works is also refraining from sin. Jesus walked on this Earth and did not sin. His example of a sinless life proves and inspires us that we do not have to sin. We can do the same “good works” of refraining from sin and inspiring others (1 Corinthians 6:19, “What?

Definition Of What Is Love? God is Love.

1 John 4:16. God is love. Love is God (1 John 4:16, "And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him."). The Greek word, agape, defines love as unconditional favor and devotion to the well being of someone. This is the love that God has shown to all of mankind.

You Are Only Equipped For Spiritual Warfare If The Spirit of God Is In You

Romans 8:9. When you are sinning and in the flesh, the Spirit of God is not in you. If you are in the flesh, you do not have the capability to be successful in spiritual warfare. Only when the Spirit of God is in you can you be equipped to do Spiritual battle. Spiritual warfare is taking on the mind of Christ both in you and others.

The Resurrection Spirit Is In Us

Romans 8:11. In Romans 8:11 the Bible says that we can have the same spirit in us as the Spirit of Him that raised Jesus from the dead. All we have to do is accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Through His act on the cross we are made clean and righteous enabling the resurrection spirit to enter us (Romans 8:10).

The Bible says that we can have the same spirit in us as the Spirit of Him that raised Jesus from the dead (Romans 8:11, "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you").
