The Apostles' Creed. The Apostles' Creed is rooted in the early church. It did not reach its final form until the 7th century in France. At its essence the Apostles' Creed is a distillation of the essentials of Christian faith as expressed in the Bible. Through the years the Apostles' Creed has aided in providing a clear understanding of what Christianity is and what it is not.
Luke 16:2. Within Christianity the word “stewardship” can have a broad meaning pertaining to a full range of topics from financial management to the giving of tithes and offerings. The question is what is stewardship.
John 15:26. The Holy Spirit is foremost a divine comforter to Christians. After Jesus' ministry on Earth, the Holy Spirit was sent to comfort Christians. As the Comforter and the divine Spirit of Truth, he continues today to bear witness of Jesus and anoint Christians to spread the gospel throughout the world.
1 John 4:2. The Bible is very plain when it comes to giving us advice on determining the validity of visions and revelations. Not every prophet, proclaimer, sage, soothsayer, dream, vision, and so on are of God and are speaking the truth about the future. There is a simple test to determine if someone or a vision is of God or not.
Genesis 30:27: If you persist in acting Godly and creating value in human relationships, people will eventually recognize and acknowledge your value. This is what happened with Jacob's relationship with Laban. Laban, Jacob's uncle and father-in-law, was always trying to get the better end of the deal with his dealings with Jacob.
Deuteronomy 30:19. When you are having feelings of being unloved, you are in a time of transition. This could be problems with your marriage or any of your relationships. The real problem is your relationship with God. If you are feeling unloved, you are out of relationship with God.
Revelation 19:10. Part of being a Christian brethren is to spread the testimony of Jesus Christ. In the book of Revelation an angel tells John (the author of Revelation) that he is a “ fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus”.
Titus 1:16. Many people profess to know God, but they are without conscience. Many people may really believe they know God, but in their works they deny Him.
