Sanctification – Avoid False teachers and Seek God Directly
2 Timothy 2:17. We must be aware that false teachers can cause conflict in our lives and lead us away from God. God desires for all us to be sanctified, set aside for His own use, but this cannot happen if we are led astray by false teachers.
Trusting Your Lustful Heart Will Lead to an Unhappy Life

One of Jacob's biggest scams was where he was able to talk his brother out of his birthright for a dish of red pottage. Another one of Jacob's scams consisted of Jacob taking advantage of Isaac's poor eyesight to receive Esau's blessing. Jacob did not stay a scam artist all of his life.
The Devil's Only Weapon in Spiritual Warfare is Trickery
Genesis 3:1. The devil has no capability to do us direct harm. He can only do us harm by trickery. In Genesis 3:1 it says, "Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field…". In the Garden of Eden the Devil did no direct harm to Adam and Eve. All he did was use his craftiness to confuse and tempt Adam and Eve to disobey God.
