The Birth Of A Born Again Christian.
A person becomes a born again Christian when they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. As sinners we need salvation to save us from God’s wrath toward our sin and disobedience of Him. Because God also loves us, Jesus came to this Earth as a God-man to take the punishment for our sins and save us. John 5:24 advises us to believe the gospel of Jesus Christ and receive everlasting life.
John 5:24, “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.”
A Born Again Christian is Reborn of the Spirit.
When you are born again the spirit in you changes. Before becoming a born again Christian your flesh led the spirit in you. When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, God’s Holy Spirit enters you changing your purpose and equipping you to be righteous. John 3:6 advises us on being born of the flesh and being born of the Spirit.
John 3:6, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
