Christian Maturity Comes With Good Listening.

To obtain Christian maturity a Christian needs to apply themselves and be a good listener of the Gospel. The Bible does not need to remain a mystery unless you choose not to listen and comprehend the Word of God. Hebrews 5:11 warns us not to be dull of hearing.

Hebrews 5: 11, “About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.”

Christian Maturity Enables the Ability to Teach Others.

A sign of Christian maturity is that a Christian can teach others in the doctrines of the Bible. You can profess to be a Christian for many years, but if you cannot teach others about the Gospel, you are just a babe in Christ. With Christian maturity comes the ability for Christians to discern between good and evil. A mature Christian is both full of Godly knowledge and able to use their senses to discern the truth. A mature Christian is able to reason using their knowledge of the Gospel and the full use of their senses. Hebrews 5:14 advises us to mature as Christians to discern both good and evil.
