Continuing Grace
Bible Summary. To receive God’s continuing grace we can only surrender completely to our Lord Jesus Christ. It is easy to be deceived that our good works will take care of all things to include our eternal salvation. It is not our good works that keep us in relationship with God. It is our faith in Jesus Christ that keeps us in continuing grace.

Continuing Grace comes from us being weak so that the power of Christ Can Rest in Us.
God’s grace comes to us on His terms. To receive God’s continuing grace we can only surrender completely to our Lord Jesus Christ. We can ask God for mercy, but He will not always take away our infirmities.
Key Bible Verse: 2 Corinthians 12:9 advises us to glory in our weaknesses so that the power of Christ may rest on us.
Continuing Grace comes not from our works but from Jesus.
It is easy to be deceived that our good works will take care of all things to include our eternal salvation. This is faulty thinking because God is our Creator and ultimately we are governed by His purpose and saved by His grace and not by our works.
Key Bible Verse: 2 Timothy 1:9 advises us that Jesus has saved us for his own purpose and grace.
Continuing Grace is dependent on your continuing faith.
Many Christians can get caught up in religious routines such as going to church, giving to the poor, using religious sayings, and so on. These good works can start to substitute for our faith in God. It is not our good works that keep us in relationship with God.
Key Bible Verse: Galatians 5:4 advises us that faith, not works, is how we stay within the grace of God.
