Definition of Perfection - Perfection is Without Sin

The definition of perfection means "lacking nothing essential to the whole; complete of its nature or kind". From a Christian perspective this definition means that a person must not have sin or iniquity in him to be perfect. Sin is basically being disobedient to God. Only being obedient to God can you be perfect. Jesus is perfect. When Jesus walked on this Earth in human form He was without sin and perfect. The Bible describes angels as perfect. At one time Lucifer (Devil) was an angel and was perfect in God's eyes (he was not disobedient to God).

Biblical Creation Accounts For The Natural And Supernatural

God created us and the universe for His own purpose (Revelations 4:11, "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.") The actual creation process is a supernatural act. Evolution theory theorizes the natural selection process, but it does not account for the origin of matter, life, or our own soul.

The Existence of the Natural and Supernatural

Hebrews 11:3. The world we experience around us is more than what we sense with our five senses. The world consist of both the natural and supernatural. Both the natural and supernatural come from God. God is supernatural and the worlds (the natural) were created by the word of God. To deny the supernatural is to deny God (Hebrews 11:3, "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear". .

Definition of Human Nature

The short answer to the definition of human nature is it is the sum of qualities and traits shared by all humans. From a Christian perspective the definition of human nature centers around man's free will (choice) and his relationship to God.

No Excuse In Denying God - Nature vs Nurture Debate

Romans 1:20. Most people have at one time or another gotten caught up in the nature vs nurture debate. In this debate both sides take a position of why a person acts in a certain manner. Is it their environment that causes their actions or were they born that way?

Redemption Definition – In The Beginning

To understand the redemption definition, we must understand that at one time we were in fellowship with God. We were not separated from God. There was no need for redemption. There was no ransom that needed to be paid. A long time ago nothing and nobody needed to be reconciled back to God. Everything on the Earth was in fellowship with God. This included animals, the fish, the birds, the land, and even mankind. God called His creation good. In fact He called it very good (Genesis 1:31, "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day"). There was no sin. Everything was very good.

Your Lust of the Eye is A Wrong Choice that Perverts God’s Purpose

Many of us may worship God for a season, but then get distracted by the lust of the eye and make wrong choices by putting other things above God. Your lust of the eye is basically idol worshiping. God made us to worship Him, but we will quickly make a wrong choice to worship things that are not God. It is in our nature to worship. The problem is that instead of worshiping God we will worship the other woman, our job, our car, or even ourselves. Your lust of the eye worships everything, but God.

God Defines The Meaning Of Life - We Are Here For His Pleasure

The definition of the meaning of life is quite simple. It is to please God. The meaning of life is to glorify, honor, and love God ( Revelation 4:11, "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."). This is why God created us. He created us to love Him and worship Him. He created mankind with a soul that has the capability to love God just as God loves us. He desired for His unique creation, mankind, to freely love Him.

Is There A God If We Define What Is Right And Wrong?

Romans 1:25. Our sin nature continues to ask the question, is there a God, because we want to be disobedient to God. We desire to be wise and define what is right and wrong (Romans 1:22, "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools"). In our efforts to deny God, mankind has defined competing theories of creation such as evolution theory and the "big bang" theory.

Is There A God If We Deny Him?

Romans 1:20. Many people by their words and actions deny that there is a God. Denying God is a fruitless course of action. There is too much evidence in the world, to include the actual creation of world, to deny and ask is there a God. Many of us get caught up in the day-to-day activities of this world, and do not look seriously at how this world got started or what is our purpose in this world. We deny God because we do not want to know how or why we were created.
