Ephesians 1:5. When we ask how to know God’s will, we as Christians must understand that God has a plan for us to adopt us as children through Jesus Christ. Just as Jesus Christ is the Son of God, God’s plan is to adopt us as his children to include all the rights and privileges of being God’s children.

If we are serious about God, we need to forgive others no matter what they did to us. This is what God did for us. Even though we have fallen short of the glory of God, He is willing to forgive us.

Proverbs 24:21. Most people fear the unknown and uncertainty. This is a reason to fear God. Many people may think they know everything to include God, but in reality God only reveals to mankind what He desires for us to know. Our reality is not as real or as certain as we think it is now or in the future. Only God knows everything. God is the source of all knowledge and truth.

Deuteronomy 5:29. The Bible tells us that the only person to fear is God. This type of fear is not a distressing emotion, but it is a fear that comes upon us when we realize that we are in the presence of an awesome, all-powerful God. It is only when you have a relationship with God that you begin to fear His awesomeness.
