The illustration of The King Has One More Move! highlights the devil's deceptive nature in spiritual warfare. The devil may cry "Checkmate", but do not believe him because he is a liar. When it comes to spiritual warfare the devil has no capability to do us direct harm. He can only do us harm by trickery. We must resist these lies and seek God's truth.
Lucifer’s Fall From Grace
Bible Summary. Lucifer, Satan, was once an angel who resided in heaven. He was a perfect being until sin was found in him. Lucifer’s sin was pride where he exalted himself above God. He imagined that he could be like God. The devil, in his fallen state, is a liar who uses his lies and trickery against mankind today.
Lucifer, the Fallen Angel, Weakens and Deceives Mankind
Isaiah 14:12. Lucifer, Satan, was once an angel who resided in heaven. He was a perfect being until sin was found in him (Ezekiel 28:15). When Lucifer said, "I will", sin began and he became a rebel against God ( see Lucifer’s five “I wills” from Isaiah 14:13-14).

Prosperity Gospel: Having Life More Abundantly
John 10:10. A key component of the Prosperity Gospel is that Jesus is our source for an abundant and prosperous life. John 10:10 says, “... I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Here Jesus tells us that his purpose while he was on the Earth was to offer mankind a life more abundant.
