Christian Anger is a Non-Vengeful Reaction to Sin
Mark 3:5. God has given Christians a capacity and purpose for being angry. In Mark 3, Jesus as a man, gives us an example of being angry. Here Jesus became angry with the Pharisees over their hatefulness in regard to healing a person on the Sabbath. The Pharisees' purpose was to accuse Jesus versus seeking God's will concerning healing people.
Dealing With Anger Caused By People That Frustrate Us
Esther 3:5. All of us know people that frustrate us. In many cases these people are a cause for anger to flare up in us. People frustrate us because they are not doing what we expect of them or they are preventing us from accomplishing what we desire. The question is should anger be our reaction to being frustrated.

Proverbs 28:14. Many of us ask the question of why am I unhappy. We look at all the circumstances of our lives to find the answer, but we find no answers. The real reason that many of us are unhappy is because we do not put God first in our lives. Believe it or not God is our Creator and He has created us to be happy and to fulfill His purpose.

Summary of Joshua 7. Joshua 7 tells us the story of Achan's sin and judgment. Secretly Achan had taken the accursed thing in Jericho in disobedience to God. God was angry with the children of Israel for Achan's sin. Joshua continued with the conquest of the Promise Land and sent men from Jericho to conquerer the country of Ai. Joshua's army soon fled from the men of Ali in defeat.

Genesis 4 tells us the story of Cain and Abel. Abel was a keeper of sheep and Cain was a tiller of the ground. Abel brought the Lord an offering of fruit and Abel brought an offering of the firstlings of his flock. God was please with Abel, but not with Cain. God advised Cain to do good in the future, but Cain did not take God's advise.

Bible Summary. Cain, the son of Adam and the bother of Abel, made his own choice to murder his brother. Cain made a personal choice to bring God an unworthy offering. The devil did not make Cain a murderer. God did not condemn Cain to be a murderer.
Our Sin Nature Results In Defiant Behavior
Bible Summary. The essence of our sin nature is to rebel against God. From God's perspective, He must be amazed at the choices we make because of our sin nature. Even when God does good things for us, our sin nature will rebel. God does not suffer rebellion long. His solution for resolving conflict with mankind is chastisement, punishment, and eventually total destruction.

Genesis 3 tells us the story of original sin. Original sin started in the Garden of Evil where the serpent tempted Adam and Eve to sin against God. They did this by being disobedient to God by eating of the tree of good and evil. As a result of this disobedience, God cursed the serpent, Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve knew shame and were driven from the Garden of Eden.
Why Do We Ask The Question, Is There A God?
Bible Summary. Our sin nature continues to ask the question, "is there a God", because we desire to do things our way and not God's way. Because of our pride, our lusts, and our ignorance we deny God so that we can decide what is right and wrong. Denying God is a fruitless course of action.
Defy God With Your Insatiable Desire
Summary. From a Biblical perspective, insatiable desire is where we covet something that is sinful or not ours. This is what happened with Achan acted on his insatiable desire and took the gold and silver from Jericho. God tells us in the Ten Commandments to not covet things that are not ours. When we act on our insatiable desires we are breaking covenant with God.
Resolve Conflict by Being Honest with People
Romans 13:13. Just being honest with people prevents or resolves most conflicts between people. Being honest is a wonderful thing. Honesty shines a light on what is not fair, what is not upright, what will not “stand the light of day”. I do not hear the word honest or honorable much when someone describes themselves or others.
Avoid Conflict By Humbling Yourself
Proverbs 17:19. To avoid conflict with the people around us, we need to first address the source of the conflict that dwells in us. It is the sin in us that causes conflict with the people around us. When you are out of relationship with God and disobedient to God, our sinful acts also creates conflict with others. If we steal from someone, this sinful act will not avoid conflict.
Examples of Values – Range from Valuing Material Things to Spiritual Things
Luke 12:20. To understand the definition of values you need to have some examples of values. The parable of the rich fool in Luke 12 provides excellent examples of values. Basically, a value is a thing that someone values. The object of a value can range from material things to spiritual things. Material things include such things as food, money, cars, and houses to name a few.
How to Add Value – Stay Pure and Your Work Will Be Right
Proverbs 21:8. The Bible tells us how to add value and how not to add value in any situation. Proverbs 21:8 says, “The way of man is froward and strange: but as for the pure, his work is right.” This scripture is telling us that if we live by the way of man we will be full of strife and disobedience not adding value to the world around us.
