2 Timothy 2:4. The Bible describes a sanctified person as a soldier in the army. Sanctification is a process where a person is purified of sin and set aside for God's use. Sanctification is a disciplined lifestyle, a soldier's lifestyle.

Proverbs 10:26. Lazy people do not have many friends because lazy people are irritating. True friendship consists of a loving relationship. True friends give freely of themselves because they want to and not just to get something in return. Lazy people are not givers. They are freeloaders and takers.

Free will and the exercise of our will is a key concept in Christianity and the Bible gives us much advise on the subject. God created mankind to have free will. God gave mankind the freedom to make choices, to exercise their will. God did this because He loves us and created us for His own purposes and for us to worship Him.

Genesis 4 tells us the story of Cain and Abel. Abel was a keeper of sheep and Cain was a tiller of the ground. Abel brought the Lord an offering of fruit and Abel brought an offering of the firstlings of his flock. God was please with Abel, but not with Cain. God advised Cain to do good in the future, but Cain did not take God's advise.

Romans 14:13. When we become knowledgeable of the Word of God, it is easy to fall into the trap of judging others for their shortcomings. Why is it wrong for us to judge others?

Bible Summary. Defiant behavior is a result of our sin nature. Defiant behavior is rebellion against God. From God's perspective, He must be amazed at the choices we make because of our sin nature. Even when God does good things for us, our sin nature will rebel. God does not suffer rebellion long.

We maintain relationships with certain people because of their status and not for any Christian purpose. In relationships if one person is full of envy, the other person is sure to be full of pride.

Summary. When it comes to spiritual warfare the devil has no capability to do us direct harm. He can only do us harm by trickery. The Bible tells us that the devil is the father of lies. We must resist these lies and seek God's truth. Victory in spiritual warfare comes from us submitting to God.
