Good values come from God. The Bible teaches us that we must value God above everything else. Keeping ourselves in the love of God is the ultimate, good value. God is love and His love is what we should value above all things.
Matthew 25:41. The parable of the sheep and the goats illustrates that there will be a Judgment Day where unrepentant sinners, the goats, will be eternally separated from God. Jesus tells us this parable to make it clear that there are consequences to not being followers of Christ, the sheep. The parable makes it clear that all of mankind will face one of two judgements.
Whoever believes in Jesus Christ shall have eternal life (John 3:15, “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” ). Christians believe in eternal life. God has given the gift of eternal life to all believers.
Genesis 3:22. Before Adam and Eve ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, they did not know about good and evil. Having this knowledge of good and evil was one of the key difference between mankind and God at this time in the garden of Eden (Genesis 3:22, “And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: …”).
