The Five Excuses Moses Used to Deny His Calling

Bible Summary. As many us do, Moses had many excuses before God on why he could not fulfill his calling. First, Moses' response to his calling was to say, “Who am I”. Second, Moses pleaded lack of knowledge in that he did not even know God’s name and what to tell the Israelites.

Bible Summary. Instead of giving good excuses, we need to look inside ourselves. For us that our ambitious or prosperous the best excuse is that doing God's purpose in our lives is not convenient. Many of us know that we should go to church on a regular basis, but we always come up with good excuses on not going to church.

We Have No Excuse For Defying God

Bible Summary. Though God and His supernatural power is invisible to us, all of us in our heart of heart know there is a God and what is right and wrong. From God's perspective there is no excuse for sin. Sin is simply being disobedient to God. God is the our judge. We can not be God where we decide what is right and what is wrong.
