Peace Comes With A Close Father-Child Relationship.

A Christian father can bring great peace to a child. A child can learn, receive, hear, and see from their father which in turn will give the child assurance and peace in the future. Philippians 4:9 advises us to do what we learn, receive, hear, and see from our elders.

Philippians 4:9, “Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.”

A Father-Child Relationship Includes Truth and Honor.

A Christian father must always get God’s truth across to his children and he will not be disappointed. For children, God tells us in His Word that they must honor their parents which will assure them that they will have a long life. Ephesians 6:2 advises us to honor our father and mother.

Ephesians 6:2, “Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;”

A Father Brings Peace and Comfort To His Children.

A father-child relationship at it’s best is very much like the personal relationship that God offers to all of mankind. 1st Corinthians 1:3 advises us that God is the Father of mercy and comfort.

2nd Corinthians 1:3, “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;”
