Exodus 35:21. A spiritual revival starts when God touches a community of the faithful. This collective encounter with God usually comes through a messenger of God who pierces and convicts their hearts with the word of God. The congregation is revived with a renewed desire to grow closer to God and to demonstrate their love of God.

1st Timothy 6:18. Good stewardship is a lifestyle devoted to good works, giving, and having godly relationships with our fellowmen.

1st Peter 4:10. Another principle of good stewardship is to serve others to the best of our abilities. God has given each of us gifts in terms of abilities that he desires for us to use for his glory.

Deuteronomy 25:21. Another Biblical principle for businesses is “do not cheat the customer”. This may seem like common sense, but for some businesses their motto is “do not get caught cheating the customer”. In Biblical times merchants cheated customers by using inflated scale weights when measuring produce and goods that they sold to customers.

Psalm 37:4. The Bible tells us that if we delight in the Lord, it follows that God will make us prosper and fulfill the desires of our heart (Psalm 37:4, “Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”). Delight in the Lord is having a true love of God. We love him always because he is God.

Bible Summary. Christians as a member of the church, the body of believers, have the responsibility of participating in church giving. First, the church should support the needs of the church staff. This enables pastors and ministerial staff to fully focus on providing for our spiritual needs.

1 Corinthians 16:1. Another reason for church giving is that the church has the responsibility to help the less fortunate within the body of believers. 1 Corinthians 16:1-2 says, “Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to churches of Galatia, even so do ye.

1st Corinthians 9:11. One of the reasons for church giving is to support the ministerial staff of the church. Pastors and ministerial staff provide for our spiritual needs and in turn the church congregation should support the material needs of the church staff.

Luke 6:35. An important reason to forgive others is in order for us to have a relationship with God and to be a child of God. If we are serious about God, we need to forgive others no matter what they did to us. This is what God did for us. Even though we have fallen short of the glory of God, He is willing to forgive us.

Bible Summary. Another law of sowing and reaping is doing good works as well as being spiritually good enables us to reap good rewards. The laws of sowing and reaping also includes that if we do things that are contrary to God then we will reap the dire consequences or our actions. The final law of sowing and reaping is that there is no escape from the laws of sowing and reaping.
