God’s Miracles – The Supernatural In The Natural World

Bible Summary. God’s miracles are supernatural acts that happen in the natural world. At the same time, all miracles are not of God. There are people that are not of God that can perform signs and wonders. Miracles are evidence of the supernatural and that there is a God. The supernatural (the not seen) of this world is evident by miracles and unexplained phenomenon. Many of God’s miracles can be explained away, but much of it cannot. The four Gospels of the Bible provide eyewitness testimony to the Miracles of Jesus. Additionally, Christians have a supernatural power to perform miracles that comes from receiving the Holy Ghost. See below for more commentary and scriptures on God’s miracles.

God’s Miracles Reinforce Our Faith.

God’s miracles are supernatural acts that happen in the natural world. God’s miracles provide us evidence that God exists. God is a supernatural person. With God being supernatural, God’s Miracles are manifestations of God being supernatural. God’s miracles in our lives manifest His glory and reinforce our faith. John 2:11 explains that miracles provide evidence of God’s supernatural glory.

John 2:11, “This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.”

The Miracles of Jesus.

The four Gospels of the Bible provide eyewitness testimony to the miracles of Jesus. The miracles of Jesus include Jesus healing the blind, Jesus casting out demons, Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead, and Jesus walking on water. Miracles can be defined as supernatural acts that happen in the natural world.

All Miracles Are Not God’s Miracles.

Not all miracles come from God. God is all powerful, but not all miracles come from God. There are people that are not of God that can perform signs and wonders. Matthew 24:24 advises us that all miracles do not come from God.

Matthew 24:24, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

Receiving The Power To Do God’s Miracles.

Christians have a supernatural power that comes from receiving the Holy Ghost (Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…”). This supernatural power is more powerful than sin, death, and ungodly influences in our lives. Acts 1:8 advises that we can receive the power of the Holy Ghost to do miracles.

Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Miracles, The Evidence Of the Supernatural.

The supernatural (the not seen) of this world is evident by miracles and unexplained phenomenon. Many of God’s miracles can be explained away, but much of it cannot. The actual creation of this world was a miracle of God not explained by natural phenomenon. 2nd Corinthians 4:18 advises us to seek after the eternal which are supernatural versus the temporary things of this Earth.

2nd Corinthians 4:18, “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
