Abraham Was a Good Father Because of His Faith in God
Romans 4:16. Abraham was a good father because he set the example of being a man that had total faith in God. He set the example for his descendants as well as all of mankind. Abraham's godly example teaches us that only through faith in God can we in the eyes of God be a good man and good father.
Saving Grace
Bible Summary. God’s saving grace is offered to all men because of God’s love for all of mankind. Grace is only given to ones that have faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. aith is the cornerstone to receiving God’s saving grace. If through faith we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we can receive God’s grace of eternal life.

Continuing Grace
Bible Summary. To receive God’s continuing grace we can only surrender completely to our Lord Jesus Christ. It is easy to be deceived that our good works will take care of all things to include our eternal salvation. It is not our good works that keep us in relationship with God. It is our faith in Jesus Christ that keeps us in continuing grace.
God's Grace
Summary. Christianity and the grace of God go hand in hand. God had His Son, Jesus Christ, punished in our place to pay the price for our sins. He gave His Son’s life as a free gift to mankind in order for us not to perish for our sins, but have everlasting life. By accepting the grace of God, we accept God's plan for us in our lives.
The Key to Success is God's Goodness and Mercy
God is who we should look for as the key to success in our lives. It is His goodness and mercy that provides for us and that brings prosperity. The most powerful force in this world is God. It is His Word, the Bible, that is the key to success in our lives. If we speak and live God's word, God will bless us with success. God desires for us to rely on Him in everything we do.
Jacob and Laban - Eventually People Recognize Others that Create Value
Genesis 30:27: If you persist in acting Godly and creating value in human relationships, people will eventually recognize and acknowledge your value. This is what happened with Jacob's relationship with Laban. Laban, Jacob's uncle and father-in-law, was always trying to get the better end of the deal with his dealings with Jacob. This first happened when Jacob negotiated a marriage contract for Rachel, but Laban tricked Jacob into marrying Leah, his oldest daughter. Due to this trickery, Jacob ended up working for Laban for seven additional years in order to marry Rachel.
Jacob, the Scam Artist, Receives His Brother's Blessings From Isaac
Genesis 27:19: Jacob, the second son of Isaac in the Bible, started his life as a scam artist. He first scammed his brother Esau out of his birthright and then out of his father's blessing. The scam to take Esau blessings began when it became clear to Jacob that Isaac was planning to bless his favorite son, Esau, in a great way.
Why Do We Confess Sins?
Bible Summary. Sin is any thought or action that is against God. When we are in sin we are not in relationship with God. Confessing the sins in our lives is a first step in being reconciled back to God. God, because of His righteous nature, cannot be in the presence of our sinful disobedience. In fact from God's perspective, sin must be destroyed.

Good Works Through Being Good Stewards
1 Peter 4:10. All of us are given gifts and talents from God. God gives us these gifts and talents because of the grace and love He has for us.
Continuing Grace comes not from our works but from Jesus
2 Timothy 1:9. It is easy to be deceived that our good works will take care of all things to include our eternal salvation. This is faulty thinking because God is our Creator and ultimately we are governed by His purpose and saved by His grace and not by our works. It is our faith and love in our Lord Jesus Christ that assures us of continuing grace and eternal salvation.
Continuing Grace comes from us being weak so that the power of Christ Can Rest in Us
2 Corinthians 12:9. God’s grace comes to us on His terms. We cannot bargain with Him and our flesh will at many times be at odds with God’s purpose in our lives. To receive God’s continuing grace we can only surrender completely to our Lord Jesus Christ. We can ask God for mercy, but He will not always take away our infirmities.
Saving Grace Is Justified By Our Faith and Not By Our Works
Ephesians 2:8. Unless you totally believe that there is no after-life, all people have a desire to go to Heaven and live forever. Because of God’s love for all of mankind He has offered us a free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. If through faith we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we can receive God’s grace of eternal life.
