The power of the Holy Spirit enables us to take on the mind of Christ. Keeping the mind of Christ is the good fight of faith. Accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior is only the first step of spiritual warfare.
1 Corinthians 2:16. Christian spiritual warfare is totally focused on the mind. What is in the balance is whether our mind will be controlled by the natural man or by the Spirit. The natural man is no match for God's Spirit, but it is our choice if we let our flesh control our mind or if we let the Holy Spirit rule in us.
Romans 8:6. According to the Bible your religious values determine your future in life and in the hereafter. If you have religious values that are spiritually-minded such as truth, goodness, and love, you will have a life of peace and joy. This is what Jesus teaches us if we will believe Him. These are the things of the Spirit and of God.
