Bible Summary. As long as we are close to Jesus, we will have a passion for Jesus. A passion for Jesus only overtakes us when we have an extraordinary encounter with Him. We must continue to purify our heart to stay in relationship with Jesus. A relationship with Jesus is an extremely passionate relationship.

Mark 16:4. A passion for Christ comes from knowing in your heart that Jesus defeated death and is alive today forever. Coming into the reality that Jesus (God in the flesh) defeated death on the cross and was resurrected is the essence of having a passion for Christ.

Acts 5:41. Christians should think of it as an honor to be criticize, ridiculed, and shamed for speaking the gospel of Jesus Christ. Christians are not here to confront or condemn people, but we are here to speak the truth. Many people do not want to hear the truth because then they would have to change their ways. Their reaction to the Christian gospel is one of hate.

The illustration of The Compassion of the Two Moravians provides us an example of the compassion that Christ has for us. In the story, the two Moravians sold themselves into slavery so that they could preach the gospel to the slaves. This is the same compassion that Jesus has for us in that He came to us in human form so that He could give us the good news that we may be saved.

Summary. The basic redemption definition is “the act of purchasing back something previously sold”. The Christian redemption definition is “the act of delivering from sin or saving from evil“. These definitions are similar if you realize that in the beginning mankind did not need to be redeemed.

1 Corinthians 2:16. Christian spiritual warfare is totally focused on the mind. What is in the balance is whether our mind will be controlled by the natural man or by the Spirit. The natural man is no match for God's Spirit, but it is our choice if we let our flesh control our mind or if we let the Holy Spirit rule in us.

Bible Summary. Christian faith is based on the actual resurrection on Jesus Christ. This resurrection is where Jesus was in human form and he was brought back from death to live forever. Jesus' resurrection proves to us in no certain terms that God has complete power over death.

Jesus is the one and only way to eternal life. Without Jesus, we are out of relationship with God and our only future is death, eternal separation from God. Jesus is the only way for us to be in relationship with God. Jesus offers us salvation through His death and resurrection on the cross to whoever will believe in Him. A key part of Christian faith is the belief in the actual resurrection of Jesus. Through His love and sacrifice on the cross, we can have eternal life.

Romans 8:37. Christians because of their beliefs and values can be more than conquerors in this world. Through Jesus Christ, Christians can transcend the day-to-day conflict of good versus bad, right versus wrong, and even death versus life. All that is needed is for us to believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord.

Romans 13:14. There is really only one method on how to have self-control in your life and that is through following Jesus' example. We can try all types of quick-fix, multiple-step plans, but the only complete solution for self-control is to follow Jesus. Most of us desire to have self-control in our lives in order to do what is right and not do things that in the long term will hurt us.

Colossians 3:17. Many of us seek self-control, but Jesus is the only true way to self-control. He is the only human that has walked on this Earth and was perfect. He had perfect self-control. He had no sin in Him. He was perfect and had no sin in Him because besides being human He was God walking on this Earth. He came here to save us from our sin and from being out of the will of God.

2 Corinthians 4:6. The knowledge of God is offered to all of us in the form of Jesus Christ. This new knowledge of God, this mystery, is Jesus Christ who has brought mankind salvation and eternal life . Just as God commanded the light to shine out of the darkness when He created the world; and now God has sent His son as the light of knowledge to the world.

John 11:25. A key part of Christian faith is the belief in the actual resurrection of Jesus. A resurrection where Jesus was in human form and he was brought back from death to live forever. Jesus' resurrection proves to us in no certain terms that God has complete power over death.

John 14:6. Jesus was a God-man that walked on this Earth. He offers us salvation through His death and resurrection on the cross to whoever will believe in Him. This is why Jesus is the one way for all of us. He shows us by His life on Earth how to live. Through His death he took the punishment for our sin nature, our disobedience against God.
