Jesus, The One Way
Jesus was a God-man that walked on this Earth. He offers us salvation through His death and resurrection on the cross to whoever will believe in Him. This is why Jesus is the one way for all of us. He shows us by His life on Earth how to live. Through His death he took the punishment for our sin nature, our disobedience against God. By His resurrection He proved to us that we can defeat death. He only asks that we repent of our sins, accept Him as our savior, and accept Him as the Lord over our life.
The scriptures and commentary on the access-jesus.com site offers you proof and encouragement that Jesus is the one way for us to lead our lives and to have eternal life. John 14:6 says. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
It is key for us to understand the divine nature of Jesus Christ, otherwise how can we accept Jesus as the one way in our lives. Below are key links and commentary on Jesus and why Jesus is the one way to guide us in living our lives and for assurance of eternal life after death.
JOHN 14 BIBLE SCRIPTURE John 14:6, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
The Resurrection Of Jesus Christ
A key part of Christian faith is the belief in the actual resurrection of Jesus. A resurrection where Jesus was in human form and he was brought back from death to live forever. Jesus' resurrection proves to us in no certain terms that God has complete power over death. If you believe that the resurrection of Jesus actually occurred, then it follows that you believe in His promise that all humans can have victory over death. You will believe that Jesus is the one way and that you can have eternal life. John 11:25 says, "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:" For more commentary on the resurrection of Jesus Christ see links below.
JOHN 11 BIBLE SCRIPTURE John 11:25, "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:"
The Salvation That Jesus Offers Us
When talking about how someone could go to Heaven and avoid Hell, someone asked Jesus how they could be saved. Jesus said, "...With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible" (Mark 10:24). This is why Jesus, the God-man, came on this Earth to save all of us from damnation, eternal separation from God. This is why Jesus is the one way to Heaven and the only path in our lives that does not lead to Hell. For more commentary on Jesus' path of salvation see links below.
MARK 10 BIBLE SCRIPTURE Mark 10:27 "And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible."
The Power Of Faith In Jesus Christ
Hebrews 11:1. Jesus came on this earth to save us from Hell and eternal separation from God. Jesus showed us how to live. He showed us that mankind can defeat death, and He gave us the plan of salvation. All we have to do is believe in Him that Jesus is the one way to salvation. This is challenging for most of us because what Jesus has done defies our five senses. He performed miracles. He told us He was the son of God. He defeated death.
Jesus asks us to have faith in Him who defies the five senses of this natural world. When we have faith in Him, we receive the strength to follow Jesus' one way to salvation. Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." When we act out in faith, our faith becomes the evidence of things not seen. Faith becomes our strength and places us in God's plan. Through faith we anticipate the future of God's promises and act in faith in our day-to-day activity knowing we are in God's plan. For more commentary on faith see links below.
HEBREWS 11 BIBLE SCRIPTURE Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
