The Five Steps to Spiritual Revival

Bible Summary. Spiritual revival only starts when there is a move of God. When in the presence of the glory of God’s holiness, we cannot but fall down and worship him. In the presence of God’s holiness, we become undone, breakdown, and confess of our uncleanliness. Under these circumstances, God offers his grace and cleansing. If we accept, God will purge us of our sin.

Definition of Revival - When a Community of the Faithful Responds to God’s Message

Exodus 35:21. A spiritual revival starts when God touches a community of the faithful. This collective encounter with God usually comes through a messenger of God who pierces and convicts their hearts with the word of God. The congregation is revived with a renewed desire to grow closer to God and to demonstrate their love of God.

Illustration of Christian Values - Prayer of Repentance Before Kansas State House in Topeka

The illustration of The Kansas State House Prayer highlights the differences between Christian values and contemporary values. Values are all about the choices we make in life. If we value God, hope in Jesus Christ, righteousness, and love, we have Christian values and these values should lead to a Christian lifestyle.

Luke 15 Bible Commentary - The Prodigal Son

Summary of Luke 15. Jesus told the parable of the lost sheep and how God rejoices when a sinner repents as a shepherd rejoices with finding a lost sheep. Then Jesus told the parable of prodigal son. The prodigal son wasted his inheritance and then returned to his father admitting he had sinned.

Being Baptized in the Holy Spirit is Different Than Being Baptized With Water

Matthew 3:11. The word baptize for both the phrases “baptized in water” and “baptized in the Holy Spirit” can be defined as “to cleanse spiritually; initiate or dedicate by purifying.” With water baptism the new Christian is going through the rite of baptism to signify that a person has repented of their sins and they are now a new creature in Christ.

A Passion for Jesus Comes From a Pierced Heart

Acts 2:37. A passion for Jesus only overtakes us when we have an extraordinary encounter with Him. Jesus and His resurrection must be experience to be believed. A passion for Jesus only occurs when He touches our heart and pierces it with His truth, His goodness, His love, and His grace.

God Can See the Future Because He Is All Powerful to Fulfill All His Promises

Numbers 23:19. God can see into the future because what He promises comes true. What He sees and promises always comes true. God is not a man that He can lie. What He promises about the future and what He says about the future always comes true.

The Bible Says That Patience is a Characteristic of God

2 Peter 3:9. The Bible says that God is a patient God. Many of us have heard the expression that “I am waiting on God”, but it is really the other way round. God is waiting on us to come around to His kind of thinking.

Giving out of Love and Repentance

Luke 19:8. One reason that Christians have a need for giving is because of the Godly repentance in their hearts. As part of repenting and turning away from sin, Christians yield willingly to God. The God in us then urges them to give generously to the people that they have hurt previously because of their sinful actions.
