Isaiah 14:14 Lucifer who was once an angel who decided one day that he wanted to be just like God. He felt that he was perfect and did not need God. His stated intentions to be just God was a sin, a mark of imperfection. His sin was that he was rebelling against God by imagining that he could be like God.
Genesis 1:27. Adam and Eve were created by God as male and female in the image of God. Other creatures were created male and female, but only Adam and Eve were created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27, So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them).
Matthew 18:33. Another definition of unforgiveness is not having the compassion to forgive. If someone has offended us, we have a choice to either forgive them or not forgive them. Unforgiveness is when we choose not to have compassion for someone that has offended us, and we choose not to have the willingness to forgive them.
Romans 1:22. We can be great debaters and think ourselves wise, but without God we are fools. God is the source of all knowledge and truth. He is the one that reveals knowledge to us. Summary. It is only through good works that Christians can have right relationships with people. This includes fellow Christians as well as unbelievers. By doing good works you stir up others to good. As Christians we are charged to go and deliver the good news to the world. One of the best way to represent and glorify God is by doing good works.
Genesis 28:22: Jacob's encounter with God changed him from a scammer to a person that creates value in the world. Being able to create value starts with God. A definition of value is “the worth of something in terms of the amount of other things for which it can be exchanged or in terms of some medium of exchange”. God desires for all of us to create value in this world.
