First Law of Sowing and Reaping: Sowing in Kind, Reaping in Kind.

The laws of sowing and reaping are just as real as the laws of gravity. The first law of sowing and reaping is if you sow in kind, then you reap in the same kind. When God created the earth he told of plant life sowing in kind and reaping in kind. Genesis 1:11 advises us that God brought forth plant life that yields seeds and fruit after its kind.

Genesis 1:11, “And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.”

Second Law of Sowing and Reaping: Sow Little, Reap Little, Sow A Lot, Reap A Lot.

Another law of sowing and reaping is that if you sow little, you will reap little. If you sow much, you will reap much. Just as with a farmer if you sow many acres, you can then harvest many acres. 2nd Corinthians 9:6 advises us that if we sow sparingly we will reap sparingly, and if we sow bountifully we will reap bountifully.

2nd Corinthians 9:6, “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”

Third Law of Sowing and Reaping: You Reap More Than You Sow.

The third law of reaping and sowing is that you reap more than you sow. This is most evident with a farmer where for every seed of corn he reaps a stalk of corn that may hold 7,000 kernels of corn. Proverbs 11:24 advises us that if we give, there will be increase, and if we withhold, we will lose it and much more.

Proverbs 11:24, “There is that scattered, and yet increaseth; and there is that withhold more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.”
